My home town is College Park, Georgia. I attended Xavier University of LA and Grand Canyon University. My specialty is working with students as a math tutor, and I find it satisfying to assist students as they get ready for the opportunities they will come across in the future. I also like to give them the building blocks they will need to do well in school as they make their way through school from kindergarten to Grade 12, and on to higher education.My philosophy regarding tutoring is to teach my pupils to approach math problems from a practical point of view. I find that it gets students to appreciate that Math is relevant to the types of things they do every day.Since I like to specialize in a particular subject area, I'll list the subjects that I feel comfortable teaching here: Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Probability, Statistics, Finance, ACT Math, ACCUPLACER Elementary Algebra, SAT Mathematics (1-2), Business, Homeschool, GED, PSAT, Summer Tutoring, and Study Skills and Organization.When I have a bit of time to myself, like to relax and unwind by watching sports, grilling on the bar-b-cue, and hanging out with my family.
